Col Micha Brooks Sir I am under the niscesity of informing you of my weakness and being unfit for Duty Sir I am not so well as I was at the time you left here I have no appetite for my [rituals?] at all only what Little Milk I can get I can eat a little but I should be verry happy to see you and shall indeavour to see you as soon as I am able if you should come here I should be happy to see you if not send me a Line if you please I shall be here daytimes as Long as I am able and nights I lodge East of the creek This from your Humble Servant Jacob Sanford [Ens.]?
