Know all Men, That Brothers C.F. Miller, Louis Elsheimer, Louis Lipp, Christian Barthau &Adam Isley
in behalf of themselves, having formally applied for a restoration of the Charter for the Lodge formerly located at the Village of Suspension Bridge, County of Niagara and to be hailed and entitled Niagara Falls---Lodge; therefore the STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE R.W. GRAND LODGE above named, have conceded to the application so made, and ordered a DISPENSATION to be issued.
This then is our Dispensation to the before mentioned Brethren, that they are constituted under the style, title and number of Niagara Falls Lodge, No. 252 Independent Order of Odd Fellows. And said Lodge being constituted as aforesaid, is fully authorized and empowered to Initiate Members, and to grant certificates for the Five Subordinate Degrees, to worthy Brothers. Provided, the said Lodge performs all the various duties of a Lodge as required by the Constitution and By Laws of the GRAND LODGE OF NORTHERN NEW YORK, and the General Regulations of the Order.
And this Dispensation is to be and remain in full force until a CHARTER be duly presented to said Lodge, or until revoked by the R.W. Grand Lodge of Northern New York, in pursuance of Section 2, Article XI, of the Constitution.
Done in STANDING COMMITTEE, on the twenty sixth day of June one thousand eight hundred and sixty six.
